Am I in charge of my own destiny? Is everything preordained and and nothing can be changed, or can a future prediction really be made? Many people consult their horoscopes or other predictive forms of reassurance for their lives. From asking these questions I designed a random game of chance to make predictions for the day. A dig in the hand embroidered bag to pull out a patterned rune stone with thoughtful predications all based of the philosophy of cats and dogs.

The rune stones were cast with pewter and made the same size so that when a user dips in the bag they have no idea which stone they will retrieve. Testing proved positive and fun for this random game of chance and showed me the power of persuasion and suggestion. These predictions were believed by users, with many comments such as ‘how does it know’.
